PEG-10 SOY STEROL

INCI: PEG-10 SOY STEROL | Function: Emulsifier, Emollient, Stabilizer | Type: PEG Soy Sterol (Ethoxylated phytosterol emulsifier)

What Is PEG-10 SOY STEROL?

A polyethylene glycol ether of soybean-derived phytosterols, produced by ethoxylating soy sterols with 10 moles of ethylene oxide. Soy sterols (primarily beta-sitosterol, campesterol, and stigmasterol) are plant-based cholesterol analogs that support skin barrier function. PEG Soy Sterols combine the skin-identical benefits of phytosterols with the emulsifying power of PEG chains.
