Colloidal Gold
Also known as: 24K Gold
INCI: Colloidal Gold | Function: Luxury, Anti-inflammatory, Anti-aging | Type: Antioxidant
What Is Colloidal Gold? Colloidal Gold consists of gold nanoparticles (1-100 nm) suspended in liquid that have been used historically in Ayurvedic medicine (Swarna Bhasma) and modern luxury skincare. Research indicates gold nanoparticles can penetrate the dermis, stimulate collagen and elastin production via fibroblast activation, and provide anti-inflammatory effects. The nanoparticles also scatter light for an immediate radiance-enhancing 'golden glow' effect. Considered a premium/luxury active ingredient.
Key Skin Benefits + Gold nanoparticles stimulate fibroblast activity + May increase collagen and elastin production + Anti-inflammatory — reduces skin redness + Immediate light-scattering radiance effect + Ayurvedic medicinal tradition + Luxury positioning for premium product lines
