Bifida Ferment Lysate

Also known as: Probiotic Lysate

INCI: Bifida Ferment Lysate | Function: Barrier Repair, Microbiome, Anti-aging | Type: Soothing

What Is Bifida Ferment Lysate?

Bifida Ferment Lysate is produced by fermenting and then lysing (breaking open) Bifidobacterium — the same probiotic genus that dominates healthy infant gut microbiome. The lysate releases cellular components (peptidoglycans, cell wall fragments, metabolites) that signal skin cells to repair DNA damage, strengthen barrier function, and reduce sensitivity. The star ingredient in Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair. Clinically demonstrated to reduce UV-induced DNA damage and improve skin's immune response.
